The Project Worker is responsible for meeting the needs of the internal and external Hospital customer and supporting the department by providing a variety of hospitality services. This individual performs environmental services functions that may include major floor cleaning, refinishing projects, , responsibility to clean units on short notice and throughout the hospital, and/or other special projects, in accordance with hospital standards and policies.

This position will carry a pager , while working, and respond in a timely manner, to hospital cleaning needs as an expectation of the job. This person is cross-trained to perform the necessary tasks of a Hospitality Associate. Able to read and write; follow verbal instructions.

One year related experience.

Basic reading and math skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and behaviors.

Follow procedures related to position accountabilities.

Inventorying and ordering procedure knowledge.

Knowledge of department sanitary practices.

Knowledge of cleaning preparation in a sanitary manner.
