Job duties: # Collects waste in assigned areas within schedule time # Dry and damp mop floors in assigns areas. # Clean all equipment and return to appropriate area at end of shift.# # Understands the inspection process and follows up with recommendations. # Follows the cares training program when interacting with patients and nurses. # Demonstrates correct procedures for scrubbing and refinishing hard floors. # Carpet care procedures are followed and proper spotting methods are used. # Responsible for small furniture moves, meeting set-ups and communicates if there are any concerns. # Able to fill in for job assignments following the 7 steps of cleaning. # Maintains project equipment room cleanliness

The Environmental Services Project Lead supervises shift designated areas according to the department#s policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. This position works cooperatively within, and across departments and other services to create a system of quality health care.# This position coordinates the department daily tasks, among frontline employees, and ensure a clean, safe environment. This position is responsible for room inspections, coordinating scheduled floor care, shift lineup coverage, inter-department customer relations and supervision of TDSS and Bed Tracking.# This position will also perform various other tasks to aid the shift they are assigned to by the Environmental Services department.# Including covering shift positions when the department has scheduling constraints.
