Job Description Job Description Follow direction of project manager and project engineers. Install / configure workstations, laptops, network equipment, servers, storage, and other peripherals.

Analyze customer needs and engineer solutions to meet those needs within Cooperative Systems technology standards. On-site most days in locations throughout MA, with occasional on-site visits to clients in CT, Southern NH and RI In CT office once a week for team meeting, equipment preparation and other meetings Project Tech work includes: Desktop Imaging, desktop deployment, server and network equipment installation, etc.

Coordinate and implement simple projects. Provide input on hardware and software requirements to meet customer needs. Determine project labor estimates.

Ensure projects are delivered successfully, on-time, and within budget. Assist with onboarding projects for new customers or new service delivery to existing customers. Ensure successful knowledge transfer of projects and environments to technical team to ensure efficient ongoing support Other Tasks:

Occasionally serve as an escalation point for solving technical problems and issues. Perform administrative duties including but not limited to logging hours, maintaining customer documentation, and using company-approved data entry system. Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of project progress, impending changes or agreed outages.

Draft and maintain documentation of technical processes for internal and external use. Exercises independent judgment in the interest of the company as a substantial part of the work day. Obtain company assigned training and certifications to further goals of self and the company.

Provide ideas/insights as to new products or services that the company can offer its clients. Perform after hours customer support and project delivery as required. Meet (at a minimum) company Service Level Agreements.

Perform other duties as assigned. Education and experience Basic knowledge of network and server environments including (but not limited to) Server Operating Systems, Virtualization Technology, E-Mail platforms, Cloud Services, Networking and Security. Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, AzureAD, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, etc.). Previous migration experience preferred.

Expert knowledge of workstation deployment and imaging techniques. Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, CompTia A, Net, Security.

Basic understanding of network topologies and concepts. Associates Degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in information technology (prior managed services / IT consulting experience a plus). Personal skills/attributes Strong interpersonal communications skills including the ability to ask relevant questions, effectively listen, provide information, and collaborate with others in a positive way.

Take ownership and follow-through on responsibilities. Ability to quickly analyze a situation and follow a systematic approach to problem resolution. Ability to manage time and multiple tasks/priorities.
