Project Surveyor

Our Survey team is seeking a PROJECT SURVEYOR to join our Greater Washington team and be based out of the Puget Sound. We care about your development and our survey team has a strong record of our surveyors becoming licensed and experiencing career growth and opportunities.

WHO YOU ARE:

Professional: Experienced Project Surveyor holding a current Washington State survey license or LSIT with plans to sit for license exam soon.

The candidate will have applicable survey experience with strong boundary calculation abilities and is looking for a position focused on project management. Your project experience and interest include boundary work and legal descriptions, topographic and feature mapping, roadway and interchange improvements, and subsurface utility networks.

Experienced: Work independently with a solid understanding of boundary calculations, control networks, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and as-built surveys.

You will be organized with the ability to understand scopes, project planning and field work coordination, complete projects within a budget, schedule, and scope. Trimble Business Center and Micro Station experience is a plus.

Relationship & Communication Focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, teammate and you thrive on developing rapport with others to produce a quality product. The successful candidate must be team oriented, have good verbal and written communication skills and have a professional appearance and demeanor.

Work ethic: The Survey team works hard and is looking for someone who can deliver projects on time within scope and budget. You can work as an individual contributor, but also thrive in a team environment.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $100K-125K. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role.

For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
