Project Support Intern

We have an exciting new opening for a Project Support Engineering Intern. You'll be given the opportunity to develop next generation products and technologies for the automotive industry.

As a Project Engineering Support Intern your responsibilities will include working with the FCC22 Platform Program Management team in the Torrance, CA office. Assignment is 6 months in length, 4-5 days a week, and 30 - 40 hours a week. Students can expect to gain hands-on work experience and to work on a variety of relevant projects.

The Garrett Internship - Project Support will work on new fuel cell compressor programs to support develop and implement new compressor technology for leading automobile manufacturers.

The work will involve:

• Support program planning activities involving design, testing & procurement

• Support customer communication and management with meeting notes & action items

• Track procurement progress and action items status

• Create reporting templates and tracking spreadsheets

• Track delivery status and keep stock of delivered hardware

• Organize test reports, design documents and document structure

• Collect project financial information for reporting

• Other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a college degree (2+ years)

• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Self-starter & learning attitude

Hourly Rate

The hourly rate for this role is $25 an hour
