JOB TITLE: Project Superintendent

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Construction

JOB SUMMARY: The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.


  • Act as TWG Construction, LLC. liaison to the owner, their representatives or advisors and is the first point of contact for addressing all project-related questions, clarifying and resolving project design issues, changes in scope of work, quality concerns or project delays.

  • Holds project team and sub-contractors accountable for meeting performance standards and successfully delivering on project objectives.

  • Manage day to day project activities and coordinate trades with the objective of maintaining the construction schedule to ensure on-time project completion.

  • Communicate project manpower, coordination and material needs to all subcontractors, suppliers and management.

  • Create and maintain delivery schedule; post on site where visible to all parties; inspect each delivery process for safe operation, audit deliveries with proper documentation.

  • Create and maintain Two Week Look Ahead Schedules to be distributed to subcontractors, suppliers and team members.

  • Communicate and monitor safe work practices and environment.

  • Conduct jobsite safety orientations with all project team members on their first day of work on-site.

  • Control all exterior site safety; including but not limited to all equipment, scaffolding, ROW permitting, debris zones, and surrounding traffic.

  • Monitor and direct daily job site clean-up activities to ensure a safe work environment at all times.

  • Monitor all project team members' daily activities to ensure compliance with all G/C, OSHA, State safety regulations.

  • Complete weekly site safety inspections

  • Serve as on-site representative for communicating project requirements and changes for project success.

  • Maintain up-to-date drawings and specifications.

  • Confirm that all subcontractors are keeping up to date As-Built drawings.

  • Schedule, manage and document weekly MEP coordination meetings.

  • Schedule, manage, and organize weekly on-site superintendent/foreman meetings.

  • Consult with Project Management and Design Teams to obtain required information, details and supplemental instructions via RFI, and distribute information to all project team members as needed.

  • Ensure that all approved change order work is properly implemented into the project in a timely manner as specified and detailed within the change order documents.


  • High School diploma or Associate's degree

  • 5 years field supervisory experience

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong speaking and listening skills

Project Manager Requirements: * Requires a BA/BS in a related field; Minimum of 3 years professional project management experience required during which at least 2 years are spent leading project tasks, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. * Previous or current knowledge/experience with Anthem Inc. systems. preferred * Work experience in the health care industry; managed care experience preferred. * Experience managing cross-functional project teams. * Must have strong prioritization, attention to detail, effective multi-tasking, verbal/written communication and organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced complex project environment. * Proficient with Visio and Sharepoint required. * Proficient MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
