Project Stand-Up Program Developer - Year 1 VISTA
This project will break the cycle of poverty by providing out-of-school time programming that focuses on reading, phonics, spelling, and literacy-based activities. These activities will help to promote success in other areas of life, learning, and career development.
Project Stand-Up's mission is to provide a variety of group and individualized projects to help improve the educational needs, efforts, and outcomes of the populations we serve. Our purpose is to seek and provide suitable learning materials and projects, supply compassionate expertise, and provide an encouraging and welcoming space conducive to successful learning experiences regardless of beginning educational levels. Member Duties : The VISTA member will develop the operating policies and procedures for Project Stand-Up programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization. This includes researching the program's reading material and curriculum.
Developing the program plans for all of Project Stand-Up's programs from start to finish. Develop and document ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of activities, procedures, and personnel for each program. The VISTA member will also assess the existing evaluation strategies and modify them for efficacy if necessary.
