Description:

The Project Scheduling Analyst will provide scheduling support for the Science & Technology Office under the NASA Consolidated Program Support Services PP&C contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The work entails integrating, managing and coordinating schedules for various NASA programs and projects.. Duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Develop schedules for projects utilizing NASA and industry standards and best practices.

• Provide updates, statuses, and maintenance inputs to the Integrated Master Schedule

• Conduct schedule health checks.

• Participate in weekly project meetings with project personnel and subject matter experts to gather schedule status information.

• Develop, status, report, and document schedules and metrics for program and project management. Provide schedule analysis and report schedule findings as required.

• Develop analysis of major projects within the program, including the forecasting and identification of risks, and develop recommendations to resolve identified risks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.

• Must have a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts Degree or equivalent work experience.

• 12+ years of related experience

• Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.

• Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

• Advanced experience using Microsoft Project.

• Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.

• Advanced understanding of GAO Best Practices for Project Schedules a plus.

• Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with engineering process for building flight hardware.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications.

• Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM).
