Project Samples are ordered in small quantities by development, yield and quality engineering teams, for product verification and characterization, verification of improvements, as well as for customer sampling of new products.

In this exciting role your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination of sample production for Business Unit Security & Connectivity working within a project team.

  • Operating as interface for order and delivery of samples to the relevant manufacturing sites in Europe and in Asia.

  • Check integrity of orders with respect to all required documentation, information and availability of material leading to a smooth manufacturing of samples.

  • Track and feedback status of samples to requestors.

  • Perform zero balancing, i.e. ensuring that each sample is accounted for and its location known.

  • Drive improvements of project sample manufacturing process.

  • Act as quality guidance for existing and new project sample processes

  • Develop and maintain a quality control concept for local sample manufacturing

  • Perform software acceptance tests for internal tools and applications, drive concepts for improvements in respective area

Education and technical requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master or equivalent in industrial/electrical Engineering, science, supply chain management or comparable

  • Professional experience e.g. in the field of IT process management or in project management or quality would be beneficial

  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) system knowledge would be a plus

  • Semiconductor industry knowledge

Personal requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, ability to prepare communication to target groups and management and communicate to the point

  • Positive, committed, customer-oriented and structured approach

  • Proficiency in multitasking coordination while remaining detail oriented

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

Great responsibility in a quickly growing and technical BU In this position, you will be the owner of a broad range of portfolio projects and you must be able to effectively overcome various "road blocks". You will prioritize portfolio of backlog projects for each Product Team and schedule project execution according to each team's resource allocation strategy. In addition, you will conduct buffer recovery efforts when necessary to bring projects in on-time. To do so, you need to analyze project results and lead regular continuous improvement sessions with Functional Managers and Project Leaders. As you will be part of a truly global company you will communicate with stakeholders at all levels, where you will take the lead making things happen. Your responsibilities will include: Portfolio management level: * Lead regular sessions with the Project Leaders and Functional Managers to review problem spots in the portfolio that need management attention. * Analyze each Product Team's expected resource needs and recommend resource reassignments or additions to meet future requirements or changes in strategy. * Monitor shared resource capacity utilization to resolve priority issues across Product Teams. * Report on portfolio performance according to stated objectives, goals and KPI's. Project execution level: * Lead project timeline evaluation and replanning efforts required by customer changes in project scope. * Ensure that the Exepron Project Management Dashboard provides useful information to management by enforcing project management policies and procedures, including regular task updating and working to a single priority. * Train Project Leaders to understand the principles of Critical Chain Project Management. * Upon project completion assess and report on project delivery in alignment with the project charter (CRS), stated objectives and goals.
