PSC is looking for an architectural professional that has the ability to get licensed and is actively in the process of obtaining their registration in our Frisco, TX office. The candidate must possess the following qualifications:
o key connection between the firm and the client. While this relationship is not exclusive, it is the project professional's responsibility to interpret the client's expectations into the reality of the project through leadership, contracts, and management of the process.
o demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the firm's values and standards for project delivery.
o keen understanding of the industry standards and the expectations of the client.
o demonstrates the leadership required for effective team contributions to the firm's success including contributions to firm standards, employee development and mentoring.
o takes responsibility for execution of the production of a project from design concepts to the bidding and construction phase services, working under the general direction of the registered/licensed professional of record for design and delivery of the project.
o expected to delegate assignments, coordinate work of consultants, and communicate with the architect of record.
o actively participates in marketing efforts and business development.
o has a professional degree or credentials to become registered/licensed or other equivalency.
o Development of projects from marketing and contract negotiation through development of scope and signed contract.
o Responsible for all aspects of managing the client and team throughout the design process and project completion on multiple projects.
o Readily assists as needed to produce any component of a project to aid the team effort.
o Work with employees and design teams including consultants to coordinate, design and produce projects.
o Responsible for the technical and regulatory code compliance and accuracy of each segment of the work. Responsible for enforcement of PSC project delivery standards including technical, procedural and CADD.
o Consult with client to determine functional and spatial/relational requirements of project.
o Prepare technical specifications and assist in the preparation of the front end of the project manual.
o Plan layout of project and integrates building elements/systems into unified design for review and approval.
o Prepare and coordinate OPCs for projects for approval.
o Assist in preparing project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
o Gain exposure to internal project financial performance by working closely with the PM.
o Lead the preparation of contract documents, reports, amendments, change orders, and project modifications for review by the PM and owner.
