Catalent is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Sterile Products group at our site in Woodstock, IL.

The Project Manager will be instrumental in leading development teams and managing cross-functional activities for a portfolio of projects.

As a Project Manager, your contributions will ensure that customers' needs are met in an expeditious and quality centric manner and will allow Catalent to bring drug products to patients safely and quickly.

The Role

  • Lead and build multi-disciplinary project teams, comprised of representatives from relevant functions

  • Compile and maintain up to date project plans, ensuring all development activities are included

  • Ensure that key development milestones, in agreement with customers, are achieved and that the program is progressing in a timely manner

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and ensure that good communication is maintained

  • Track progress of all activities against the plan and notify the relevant personnel of potential delays and/or other changes

  • Chair internal and Joint Project Team meetings, provide agendas, and issue minutes with follow-up actions identified

The Candidate

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Engineering or relevant discipline

  • 5 years of industry experience to include pharmaceutical development/management as well as knowledge of FDA regulations

  • Project Management experience; PMP certification is a plus

  • Hands-on experience managing client facing projects

  • Must be computer literate with MS Office, spreadsheets, and ERP & PSR systems (JDE preferred).
