JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager#Wilderness Health functions as a knowledgeable resource for determining and implementing organizational process improvement objectives. The Project Manager assists organizational leaders in meeting process improvement goals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor#s Degree in health or business related field. Experience: Three (3) years recent healthcare or health plan or related experience, including experience in project management. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: N/A Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration: Project management certification. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work well with other people; aptitude for information systems and systems thinking; ability to learn MediTech reporting. Ability to analyze complex data and formulate recommendations from data. Strong problem-solving, presentation and communication skills; ability to work independently; professionally motivated; prior knowledge of PCs, Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, experience with multiple clinical software applications # READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures. SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. VIEW JOBS 4/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-02T00:00 RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for managing the development of projects, from the origination phase, through permitting and design, construction and commissioning, and implementation by the operations and asset management team or through the transfer of the project to a potential counter-party * Accountable for the key development processes including budget forecasting, coordinating consultants, resource assessment, legal review, land and title, interconnection, transmission planning, engineering and design, construction and commissioning, and contract execution, project financing, turn over to the O&M and asset management teams * Manage development budgets, oversee successful permitting, support the formulation of competitive off-take pricing, off-take sales process, competitiveness review, negotiate equipment supply agreements and construction services agreements, and prepare internal presentations supporting approvals to execute project sale agreements, such as a MIPA, APA or PPA * Prepare and regularly update project schedules, status reports, budgets and risk assessments to ensure management and key stakeholders remain informed on a regular basis * Lead due diligence efforts for acquiring or pursuing partnership opportunities for mid to late stage development projects and support the M&A process for the acquisition of operating assets * Demonstrate a high level of leadership and interpersonal skill to develop and enhance working relationships with counter-parties and to advocate for customer needs with the company REQUIRED EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, marketing, engineering or related technical field * Advanced degree and/or professional licensures (MBA, CPA, PE, PMP, etc.) desirable REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of five years of directly related energy experience, including project development experience * Examples of related energy experience include, but are not limited to, work experience with: shale, solar, wind or other clean energy technology SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: * This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude * Must have a proven track record of full cycle project development in the field, be able to perform financial/economic analysis and possess a good understanding of the energy market and terminology Employer will not sponsor Visa's for this position External applicants must apply online via www.allete.com/careers .
