ERPi is currently seeking a full time Project Manager to provide onsite support at our Seattle, Washington client site.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to providing seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers. To ensure seamless care for Veterans, VA will move toward a single common system by adopting the electronic health record (EHR) system that is being deployed by DoD, which at its core consists of Cerner Millennium. Currently, the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software and related support services. This modernization of VAs health information management systems will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.
ERPi is providing a range of program management, and technical support activities to the VAs Office of EHRM Program Management Office (PMO) in support of this transformative enterprise-wide effort.As a project manager, you will lead logistics and site planning activities, including developing site plan documentation, and supporting planning activities for the fielding team. Tasks will include meeting coordination and facilitation, supporting data calls and coordinating activities to support deployment activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of Federal travel regulations and site visit planning. Additional experience and knowledge of implementation and planning efforts for commercial EHR/EMRs, for Cerner and/or Epic product offerings, and/or have experience working with the VA or a VA community partner(s) may be included. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills, the ability to translate technical plans, provide guidance to leaders, identify milestones/risks, and coordinate tasks to maintain timelines.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree, Masters preferred
10 (or more) years of professional experience (12 years if degree requirement is not met)
Knowledge of Federal travel regulations and experience coordinating site visits
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and a collaborative problem solver

Desired Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of Veterans Administration including mission and requirements
Experience at VHA/VA preferred
Experience in healthcare and/or IT roles
Knowledge of Epic or other commercial EHR systems
Knowledge of interoperability and IT standards
Knowledge of DoD preferred
