We are seeking an enthusiastic engineer to join our wastewater technical team in Atlanta, GA. The position will focus on delivering projects in the areas of conveyance system management & planning, condition assessments, rehabilitation and design. Our Atlanta office is a hub for conveyance related projects. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of project and clients in the local and regional markets. The position requires excellent technical skills combined with an acumen for consulting and client service.

  • Guiding, developing, and leading the planning and delivery of conveyance related projects and programs

  • Effectively communicating with clients to develop collaborative solutions

  • Discuss project results and recommendations with clients to facilitate informed decision-making

  • Writing, reviewing, and providing clear, concise input to investigation, regulatory, or solutions reports

  • Managing deliverables to scope, schedule, and budget

  • Working with multi-disciplinary teams including Jacobs' Solutions & Technology organization

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other applied subjects

  • A minimum of 10 years' technical experience in wastewater conveyance system design and management

  • Professional Engineer registered in the State of GA or ability to obtain reciprocity

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Experience in client service management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in civil engineering or other applied subjects

  • Experience in the southeast US wastewater industry

  • Development and/or implementation of CMOM programs

  • Delivery of consent decree programs

  • Excellent written communications skills

We are currently searching for a Project Manager (PM) to closely collaborate with our Clients, the development team(s), and internal colleagues in order to meet the specified requirements of a project. PM will manage various projects both long and short term and will be the primary liaison between business requests, the project roadmap and the project development. PM will also facilitate, prioritize and foster communications for internal and external Clients. Some of the primary responsibilities: * Creating clear and attainable project objectives; building the project requirements; and managing the triple constraint for projects. * Preparing, publishing, distributing and maintaining detailed project schedules via the work breakdown structure. * Liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. * Setting and continually managing project expectations with project teams and other stakeholders. * Interfacing with multiple groups within a lifecycle which include: internal company teams, vendors & end users. * Identifying, managing and controlling the change control process both with internal and external stakeholders. Experience and Skills: * Bachelor's degree in an engineering or business discipline * 3 years of technical experience with project management in Distribution Center/Warehouse * Proven track record of managing projects with industrial automation, software, and material handling experience * MUST have warehouse control systems (WCS) and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) experience * Cross functional team management experience * Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to manage Client expectations * Strong understanding of Microsoft Project * Project costing and forecasting experience; risk management and risk mitigation experience * Risk management and risk mitigation experience * Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language * Highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Ability to travel extensively nationally and potential for internationally based project Home office.
