The Project Manager will lead projects for the Meeting Management Technology (MMT) Services and support their mission to enhance organizational effectiveness by linking all Coordinating Centers and Offices and CDC/ATSDR sites with each other, and with various other Federal agencies and public health partners through the development of high quality, reliable, audio, web and video conferencing services as well as local in room conference audio visual support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a staff of ~30 personnel including A/V technicians, Bridge Engineers, Broadcast Engineers, System Engineer, System Analyst and Design Engineer

  • Develop and submit monthly status reports to Program Manager

  • Review and track status of all projects to ensure successful completion of all project deliverables on time and within budgeted hours

  • Complete project and staff leadership services.

  • Ensure all support staff maintain technical proficiency.

  • Completes overtime and special events staffing scheduling and administration.

  • Engage other ITSO and partner entities on various projects.

  • Complete all CDC and ITSO administrative and security requirements for contract staff.

  • Develop and manage MMT Certification and Accreditation (C&A) status for MMT products and services.

  • Develop and maintain training certification status reports and ensure all staff maintains certifications.

  • Verify that any equipment purchased on behalf of the government is tax exempt.

  • Develop and maintain uniform contract and enforce uniform dress code for GCC, building 21 1st floors and Building 21 12th floors OD. Uniforms at other locations are optional.

  • Provide SharePoint site administration including form development and reports.

  • Provide remote IPTV video streaming service monitoring and assistance as needed.

  • Serve as Liaison with non-Atlanta Remote Field Services technicians to ensure agency meeting support services are provided.

  • Utilize and support MS Skype audio and web conferencing tools as standard internal meeting tool.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Technical discipline

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience leading teams for AV/VTC services

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred or equivalent experience.

  • The ability to communicate clearly

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff

  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and manage time appropriately

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable with complex and frequently changing requirements and processes

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
