Overview

Milton CAT is seeking a dynamic project manager/business analyst to join our team in Milford, MA. Our IT culture is one of true business partnership - helping various departments and team members leverage current and new technology to improve processes and optimize their performance; that is the essence of this role. If selected, you'll work within the IT and various business Departments on a broad range of cutting-edge on-premise and cloud technologies such as:

  • Microsoft Dynamics

  • Azure

  • Power BI

  • Office 365 (such as Teams, Visio, Forms, etc.)

  • IoT

  • Advanced parts warehousing and control technology

You will work with a diverse team and be exposed to many areas within the business, such as Sales, Supply Chain, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Product Information Management, and Parts Logistics. This position also works closely with leadership on strategic initiatives including an ERP Implementation and new warehousing system deployment, as well as delivering ongoing guidance and process improvement. Business Analyst and Project Management experience in Supply Chain Management and Parts Logistics will be a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Learning all facets of the business and all processes that support it.

  • Develop and implement process changes, workflow, or system improvements to ensure business continuity and compliance and be a catalyst for the change.

  • Proactively identify and implement efficiency opportunities.

  • Maintains a strong understanding of business operations, priorities, and strategic objectives.

  • Analyze processes, recommend improvements, research potential technology solutions.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and coordination of all activities pertaining to the ERP project, including project health, status reporting, and problem resolution with stakeholders.

  • Define requirements for data analytics and define reporting for process governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain and Logistics, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3-5 years' experience a plus.

  • We're seeking idea-generatorscurious, interested, eager learners that are not afraid to ask questions and challenge current processes, ideas, and systems.

  • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes and translate them into application and operational requirements.

  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Experience with advanced parts warehousing and logistics is a plus.

  • Expertise with an ERP implementation is desired.

  • Proficient use of technology with advanced utilization of Microsoft Office products.

  • High level of business acumen and communication and presentation skills throughout varying levels of the organization from line-level employee up to the C-suite.

  • Travel will vary 10% - 25% within New England and Upstate New York.

With the growth in precision medicine, it is an exciting time for LC-MS in clinical diagnostics. For 10+ years, PCR-NGS techniques have been widely used for clinical diagnostics. Clinicians now want a real-time understanding of disease states, requiring a more complete picture of proteins, lipids, and steroids. LC-MS based assays are critical to provide this level of insight with their analytical specificity, sensitivity, and capacity to analyze simultaneously multiple analytes. Reporting to the Head of R&D of Clinical Business, the Project Manager will join a passionate, agile team to develop innovative solutions to address high unmet needs and establish Waters as the leader in clinical LC-MS diagnostics markets. Responsibilities * Lead cross-functional teams to successfully execute the R&D projects and new product introductions that provide end-to-end clinical mass spectrometry solutions for critical therapeutic areas including endocrinology, toxicology, oncology etc. * Implement project management methodologies, processes, and tools to deliver the R&D projects and new product introductions on target. * To lead diverse, multi-functional teams in the execution of complex global projects that deliver products consisting of fully integrated systems and IVD reagent kits. * Responsible for all aspects of Project Management for Product Delivery from concept to benefit realization within scope, managing schedule and budget and keeping key management stakeholders appraised on project status. * Proactively utilize project management best practices to ensure adequate planning, monitoring, controls and risk management activities are conducted. * Coordinate with professional functions to provide holistic approach that includes all factors pertinent to the project success e.g. legal, commercial, financial, health & safety, operations. * Manage all projects within the appropriate Waters governance framework and Lifecycle management processes. * Manage relationships with third parties and other external collaborators, tracking work and communicating accordingly. Qualifications * Extensive and demonstrable experience in leading and managing large complicated (multifaceted) IVD projects. * A recognized project management qualification (e.g. PMP) with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in leading teams and delivering projects. * Expert knowledge of the project lifecycle, techniques, appropriate methodologies and approaches (e.g. Agile, waterfall). * Ability to drive collaboration and decision making through the development of a strong team dynamic to foster alignment and commitment to shared goals and responsibilities. * Exceptional and well-practiced communication (verbal, written, listening), inter-personal and influencing skills at various levels of the organization. * Confident in effectively communicating and reaching agreement with stakeholders as well as navigating ambiguous, changeable, and complex environments to achieve desired outcomes. * Ability to distill and present complex data to inform and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
