Who are we looking for?
In response to steady growth within our Water/Wastewater business, our Water group in the Carolinas is looking to bring onboard a motivated Project Manager to help with the continued development and growth of GHD's Water Business. You will also provide technical leadership and delivery of major water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects for our clients throughout the Carolinas and the Southeast Region.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Interact with clients and consultant partners to define project needs
Lead preparation of design computations and opinions of probable cost
Direct preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules and design for projects
Prepare proposals and assisting in sales and marketing will also be a major part of this role plus liaising with clients, building client relationships and obtaining new business where possible
Promote effective teamwork through mentoring and training
Prepare and monitor project budgets and schedules
Assist in leading the continued growth and development of our Carolina water practice
What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer License (in North or South Carolina a plus)
6-10 years of experience (more than 10 years a plus) in planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and/or treatment facilities with at least 5 years in the Carolina market preferred
Stormwater design and MS4 planning a plus
