The Project Manager is responsible for providing overall management direction to one or more projects, establishing project objectives and policies, maintaining client relations, and overseeing construction and financial activities through the administrative direction of the onsite Superintendent. The role also involves mentoring Project Engineers.
Qualifications: Education & Experience: BS degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of construction experience. Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate on controversial or complex topics. Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with concepts such as probability, geometry, and trigonometry. Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Handle complex technical instructions and variables. Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Familiarity with Primavera/Oracle scheduling, Sage Timberline, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint is a plus. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. LEED and PE certifications are a plus. Duties Manage critical subcontractors.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Create and manage schedules of values and pay applications. Assist in creating and implementing job-specific safety plans.
Ensure the development and execution of a quality control plan. Oversee procurement processes for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts. Prepare and maintain accurate financial forecasts, focusing on labor, equipment, and cash flow.
Develop and manage project schedules, including cost and resource allocations as needed. Participate in all preconstruction services. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
