As a Senior Technical Wastewater Project Manager out of our Denver office, you will get to work with the #1 ranked wastewater treatment engineering firm in the world, serving mining wastewater and water-related clients in the area. Working with other members of our team, you'll direct communications with clients on technical design topics and project schedule/budget/scope; lead project teams and communicate between diverse design disciplines; develop, staff, and coordinate effective quality management processes for each project; establishing long-term client relationships and support business development activities. The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline

  • Licensed professional engineer

  • At least 10 years of experience as a consulting PM, with strong technical background in wastewater treatment

  • At least 5 years of experience in mining water management

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 15-20 years of experience, with significant portion in mine and other industrial water management/ treatment

  • MS in engineering with emphasis on water treatment or related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Working knowledge of the water envelope in multiple industries.

  • Ability to synthesize solutions across the water envelope, considering all of the services we can offer for water and environmental management.

  • Experience in industrial water management/ treatment, especially for clients in the Oil and Gas Sectors, Chemical, and Power Sectors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.Manages the scope of assigned projects and all of the associated resources. Develops and manages the project charter, scope of work document and work plan. Organizes and manages the project team members, including staff, end-users, and vendor resources. Analyzes, plans, develops and manages implementation within the defined scope and charter. 2.Manages the quality of assigned projects to meet or exceed customer requirements, customer expectations, and project objectives. Uses the FMG project methodology and associated tools (including work plans, issues logs, etc.) to monitor and measure progress and to manage the quality of the project to achieve a successful outcome. Obtains customer acceptance and sign-off for completed project. 3.Develops and maintains project capital and operating budgets. Assists with development of projected costs. Manages utilization of operational and capital funds, based upon the project budget. Oversees the administration of the project budget. 4.Drives analysis, planning and implementation of major organizational initiatives. Regularly consults with senior-level sponsors on status and to escalate issues. Acts as liaison to FHS and/or CHI partners to collaborate on major initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Work Experience: * Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required * Actual, verifiable, successful and sustained performance in project management * Three to five years of direct experience in project management, process improvement position(s). Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
