Position Summary

The role of the Projecct Manager I reports to the Manager of the Project Management Team. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects related to healthcare services, infrastructure, and technology. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and contribute to improving patient care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all positions within the project management team, as needed, to support project management function, including planning, development, execution, and monitoring.

  • Assist Project Manager IIs & IIIs to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks, as needed.

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources.

  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and vendors to promote positive working relationships and ensure successful completion of all phases of project.

  • Assist in tracking project budgets and expenses.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management; Health Care)
  • Certification: Not required (CAPM or PMP certification not necessary)
  • Experience: No specific experience required, but internships or coursework related to project management are beneficial

Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of the time performing job functions within a standard office or clerical environment, sitting and access computer and other typical office related devices. This position will spend 20% of the time standing or walking, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs.
