What you'll be doing...

You'll be a key resource supporting a global Director overseeing coordination and support across key aspects of the team's overall strategy and execution plans. You'll have overall line-of-sight and be required to support the team aligning on delivering on commitments, effectively communicating updates, tracking and trouble-shooting, which all require supporting day-to-day execution details with the Director, team members, colleagues and stakeholders as well as external partners.

  • Leading high visibility strategic projects.

  • Forging cross-functional partnerships to get the work done.

  • Crafting detailed project plans and presenting business updates.

  • Identifying global resource requirements and pulling in the right people.

  • Developing, reviewing, and continuously improving processes.

  • Monitoring project progress, anticipating and reducing risk.

  • Partner closely with your manager and also the team leads and collaborate with other areas of the business, including Leadership team, BDSI, Sales, Strategy, Marketing and Solutions.

  • Liaise with external firms to coordinate engagements and execution of contractual commitments.

  • Own/support owning specific projects on behalf of the Director, working across organizations and business units to deliver recommendations the team can execute effectively.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner and communications expert to the Director in facilitating effective decision making.

  • Help manage day-to-day operations for the Director working with the team leads, including helping direct key activities, acting as a liaison with direct and indirect reports and gatekeeping to prioritize information needs and flow.

  • Directly support strategic planning, executive updates, team collaboration, project management and gathering reporting.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Knowledge with managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

  • Experience working in a global organization within the telecom or high tech industry.

  • Experience building and delivering presentations to senior leadership.

  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, GSuite.

  • Willingness and travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree.

  • Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Certification in PMP and/or MSP.

  • Practical knowledge of PPM tools.

  • Motivated and influenced teams to deliver outcomes and results.
