What you'll be doing...

You will perform complex and detailed review of contract documents that Verizon is negotiating with our Verizon Business Group customers. Contract reviews are performed to ensure billing and collections supportability. Contract language is negotiated to limit manual implementation and billing requirements.

  • Review all types of contracting documents which Verizon utilizes in the Verizon Business Group segment.

  • Collaborate with our internal business partners in Sales, Legal, Contract Management, PCM, Solution Architects, and others.

  • Represent Business Bill to Cash as the Subject Matter Expert in internal contract reviews, negotiations and approvals.

  • Influence contract language for billing supportability and auditability.

  • Research and identify alternative or optimal billing solutions using expert judgment and working with internal stakeholders to define contract specific solutions. Ensure all Business Bill to Cash groups that are impacted are informed of solutions.

  • Project manage complex opportunities, lead and participate in conference calls related to internal deal negotiations, and development of IT solutions as required.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to work independently or with limited direction from management.

  • Management skills and the ability to influence others by gaining buy-in from partner organizations.

  • Communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate at all levels internal and external to Business Bill to Cash.

  • Solution oriented with an ability to evaluate and analyze customer, sales or contract requirements and identify alternative solutions.

  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reviews in parallel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) as well as Google G-Suite applications.

  • Contract experience.

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to resolve complex and non-standard process issues.
