Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Responsible for early, often and clear communication with project/product teams, cross-functional capabilities and leadership.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects; facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables via the agile methodology.

  • Define project stories; lead agile rituals such as sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.

  • Manage project vision, budget and resources.

  • Plan and schedule project timelines and roadmaps; track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders; present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.

  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare goals and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements; implement change.

  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.

  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Full time position, Monday through Friday, day hours with occasional evening or weekend hours depending on the project.


  • 0% to 10% of required travel.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field and 3+ years of corporate project management experience.

  • 5 + years Project Management experience

  • 3+ years of Agile experience.

  • Experience in and familiarity with software development lifecycles and environments

Preferred Education and Experience

  • SCRUM or other Agile related certification

You'll lead project teams focused on business effort, technology and analytics development. You'll organize the work of others and directly contribute to implementation planning, change management, prioritization and communications. A proactive and persistent approach, along with an ability to develop and nurture positive relationships across all stakeholder groups will be key to your success. Responsibilities: * Leads and provides leadership to a number of highly visible and complex initiatives and project teams through the project lifecycle to achieve desired outcomes. * Works with our Strategy Managers to ensure project work is aligned to the business priorities * Manages project change to control scope, quality, timeline and costs. * Facilitates productive project meetings and working sessions and is responsible to take action from decisions made. * Accountable to define project value and work with adoption analyst on plans for measurement and communication of insights. * Develops KPIs and metrics to measure, celebrate success, and course correct as needed. * Prepare and lead the business through project implementations, new process and technology deployments. * Communicate and coordinate across a variety of functions and levels within the organization to ensure awareness and accountability to project value. * Accountable to leverage implementation key learnings, provide feedback and course corrections as needed. * Proactively maintain an understanding of business processes and desk-level user experience. * Drives continuous improvement by leveraging new and creative approaches to program/project management, change management and communications activities. * May assist with or contribute to annual and/or strategic planning sessions. Additional Accountabilities specific to IT and analytics related projects: * Participate in sprint reviews to understand progress and impact to overall project timeline and deliverables. * Ensure appropriate engagement of UX, participate in UX share backs and collaborate to guide action towards project's intended value. * Partner with the Biz Tech Analysts and other content writers to build their understanding of the tool and ensure content is created to support users in the adoption of new business processes and systems functionality. In some cases, this may require engagement with L&D to create learning solutions. * Communicate with and train Business Technology Representatives (BTRs) and IT Service Team to ensure all parties are prepared to support implementation plans. * Responsible to involve all appropriate parties in the testing of functionality, overseeing user pilots when deemed necessary.
