As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting large-scale capital transmission projects aimed at enhancing our capacity to deliver additional transmission loads to our customers. This role is pivotal in establishing streamlined processes within Transmission Delivery to effectively manage over 40 transmission projects, ensuring organizational efficiency and focusing on critical tasks.Key Responsibilities:
Certification Requirements: Preference for PMP Certificate.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting large-scale capital transmission projects aimed at enhancing our capacity to deliver additional transmission loads to our customers. This role is pivotal in establishing streamlined processes within Transmission Delivery to effectively manage over 40 transmission projects, ensuring organizational efficiency and focusing on critical tasks.Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Lead multiple teams to ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols. Identify and mitigate safety risks before each activity, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Project Development: Spearhead preliminary engineering endeavors to ascertain a definitive, final scope for seamless handover to the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Project Management: Guide projects through the initiation phase, managing scope, schedule, risks, and resources amidst evolving project dynamics. Prioritize stakeholder requirements to ensure project success.
- Transmission Focus: Direct efforts towards transmission projects aimed at augmenting system load capacity, encompassing the construction of new transmission lines and substations, as well as upgrades. Project budgets range from $5 million to $800 million.
- Organization: Employ strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple project activities concurrently, ensuring timely follow-up with various resources to maintain project momentum.
- Schedules: Develop and maintain preliminary schedules, refining them iteratively based on emerging information. Collaborate closely with Project Controllers to fine-tune project activities and timelines for execution.
- Forecasting: Work closely with the Engineering Team and Estimators to refine project scope, develop accurate estimates, and forecast cash flow on a monthly and annual basis to optimize resource allocation.
Certification Requirements: Preference for PMP Certificate.
