In the role of Project Manager, you will plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product. You will participate in requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, create and review design and contribute to activities related to estimation, staffing analysis & solutioning and risk planning. You will act as a mentor and support the project team in developing optimized high quality deliverables. Location for this position is Warren, MI. This position may require travel and or relocation.

Qualifications

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least of 7 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred

  • At least 4 years of experience with Auto Exterior Lighting - Head Lamps, Rear Lamps, CHMSL, Fog Lamps, Auxiliary Lamps (combined)

  • At least 4 years of experience in the following domains (combined) - plastics, sheet metal and mechanisms Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in product development life cycle including but not limited to benchmarking, concept evolution, detailed design, design verification, product validation and launch related activities.

  • At least 2 years of experience in statistical analysis, dimensional management and engineering documentations such as DFMEA, DFMA & other required engineering reports.

  • At least 4 years of experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, feasibility checks, engineering studies, data management, project tracking.

  • At least 4 years of experience in providing technical and project leadership in directing a cross-function team from Change release to PPAP.

  • Experience in selecting qualified production suppliers working with purchasing and supplier base.

  • Experience in analyzing existing and potential documentation, focusing on improvement opportunities.

  • Experience in negotiating and acquiring agreement with interfacing components.

  • Ensure parts are delivered on time and to print, working with materials management, purchasing, and supplier quality.

  • Meet Customer deliverables. Full knowledge of customer implementation requirements.

  • At least 4 years of experience in assisting in developing engineering designs and implement engineering changes. Provide status update on the design work orders to the team & program management.

  • At least 4 years of experience in assisting in identifying opportunities to improve design efficiencies & cascading the same to design team. Coordinate with the design teams to get the design changes incorporated.

  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

  • Good Troubleshooting, Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skills.

  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Job Description: The Project Manager owns, manages and monitors projects from initiation through delivery, ensures that projects are completed according to plan, remain on schedule and stay within budget. This person will serve as liaison between the company's internal account team and client to help ensure that all client goals, targets and requirements are met. The Project Manager will be expected to perform the following functions across multiple clients: * Define and set expectations of service delivery of all Opus Health programs and ensure client needs are met. * Collaborate with the internal account team to provide insight into program performance. * Identify and introduce program improvement opportunities to the internal account team that best match the needs of the client's goals. * Work closely with internal Opus Health cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely program implementation. * Utilize available reporting tools to create and review reports in an effort to monitor and report program performance as well as analyze trends To be considered for this role, one should be able to demonstrate the ability to: * Work in a fast paced environment * Multi-task across assignments for multiple clients * Keep detailed and organized documentation * Take ownership and be accountable for assigned projects * Effectively communicate and collaborate with the internal account team * Guide cross-functional project teams and provide ongoing operational supervision to client programs. Brand personnel, third party agencies and technology partners to ensure a smooth delivery of the product(s). * Manage projects from inception through the end of project life cycle while optimizing project timelines, financials and client expectations. * Proactively escalate risks and own resolution for any operational issues impacting project schedules. * Ensure all documentation related to project delivery is maintained in appropriate systems. * Assist in the creation of Customer Requirement Documents, project documentation and work instructions. * Ability to interpret results, ranging from simple data review to data trending/mining.
