Position Summary:

As a university Project Manager, you will be a driving force behind the successful execution of executive projects, ranging from technology implementation to fostering innovative learning environments. Your role will encompass overseeing the maintenance of university documents, plans, and policies, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all initiatives.

Your expertise will also be pivotal in designing and conducting training programs to empower staff and faculty with the necessary skills to navigate evolving educational landscapes. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, you will play a vital role in advancing the university's mission and enhancing its reputation as a leader in academic excellence.

Essential Functions:

1.Project Management: Lead the development and execution of executive projects within the university, including technology implementation, innovative learning initiatives, and policy updates, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.

2.Documentation and Policy Oversight:Manage the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of university documents, plans, and policies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory standards.

3.Technology Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions that enhance educational delivery, administrative processes, and overall operational efficiency.

4.Training and Development: Design and facilitate training programs for staff and faculty to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively utilize new technologies, implement innovative teaching methods, and adhere to updated policies and procedures.

5.Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including university leadership, faculty, staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure seamless project implementation and compliance with institutional goals.

6.Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support project objectives while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

7.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project implementation and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

8.Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for university leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Other responsibilities:

1.Perform other related duties as assigned.

2.Participate in campus activities as available.

Education, experience, & skills required:

1.Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering, project management, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

2.Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline communication, collaboration, and document management processes.

3.Proficiency in Canvas learning management software or similar platforms, with a strong understanding of online learning environments and their integration into academic programs.

4.Proven track record of exceptional technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, plans, policies, and reports.

5.Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, and implementing risk management strategies to ensure project success.

6.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.

7.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including university leadership, faculty, staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

8.Demonstrated ability to maintain an incredible eye for detail and precision, ensuring accuracy and quality in all project deliverables and processes.

9.Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and higher education administration.
