Under general direction, the Project Manager is responsible for managing the project lifecycle from initiation through project wrap-up. The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and drives on-time execution of multiple projects through exhibiting positive leadership skills toward employees and vendors. This position requires interpersonal skills, a customer focus, and the ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and vendors.

Essential Function Description
Project Management Planning and Execution
Plans, tracks and evaluates projects performance over a flexible project management lifecycle by utilizing:
Requirements and/or specification documents
Other tools as needed
Uses Leadership skills to motivate, direct, and encourage task and project execution to achieve milestones and reach project targets.
Employs thorough knowledge of the project management discipline to bring projects of all sizes to successful conclusion, including projects with large numbers of participants and many complex elements.
Identifies areas for possible improvement in the Project Management process.
Good understanding of the software development life cycle.
Project Management Completion and Follow-up
Performs project post-mortem analysis.
Executes project wrap-up tasks and extracts improvement opportunities for future projects.
Ensures project documentation is completed before project closure.
Works with management to recognize and reward exceptional performance
Works with Senior Project Manager to evaluate completed projects for overall performance, extracting recommendations to improve future projects; works with management to implement improvements as directed.
Project Scope and Change Control
Coordinates large and small customer change requests professionally and courteously with the project team, customers and stakeholders.
Manages project changes:
Mediates disputes about change requests and in-scope functionality; assists other PMs in evaluating change requests.
Coordinates potential changes with Business Analysts.
Extracts improvement opportunities from scope requests and works with management, peers and customers to reduce future scope changes.
Customer and Vendor Communication
Provides regular, clear, respectful communication of project status to all stakeholders, internal and external.
Serves as a central contact point for vendors and stakeholders.
Provides regular reports regarding status of project; places status information online and distributes as appropriate.
Plans and manages project meetings professionally and efficiently:
Follows effective meeting practices.
Creates agenda and meeting minutes for distribution.
Serves as a model for others' meetings.
Project Direction and Scheduling
Provides regular, clear, professional communication of project and schedule.
Communicates changes to IT staff, leadership, and interested parties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Maintain strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls specific to your role.
Minimum three (3) years of related technical applications experience required.
Minimum three (3) years of systems analysis required.
Minimum three (3) years of increasingly responsible project management experience, including managing various projects simultaneously required.
Credit union or other financial institution experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications, etc.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Demonstrated excellence in providing superb customer service.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
Demonstrated knowledge of data standards (both data exchange and storage).
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
Must be bondable.
