  • Develop complete understanding of contract plans, specifications, applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.

  • Prepare, revise and communicate standards, procedures and policies.

  • Manage and oversee field projects, ensure implementation and effectiveness, document findings and take corrective action as needed.

  • Observe functioning of operational equipment or systems to determine need for adjustments and identify any safety hazards, taking all necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize hazards.

  • Strong communication skills to conduct effective meetings with the client, prime contractor, suppliers, vendors, unions, and job team

  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills to effectively lead job teams


  • Seven or more years' relevant experience in the underground/tunneling industry is

  • Must be willing and able to relocate temporarily or for a longer term period to project sites as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced district or project office environment. Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management, client representatives, staff and contractors while maintaining a diverse workload. Sit, stand, see, walk, talk and listen. Occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
