Requisition Number: 28788 Job Title: PROGRAM REPRESENTATIVE II Working Title: Project Manager, UCLA Global Classroom Salary: $20.89 - $41.37 hourly Job Type: Contract Department Name: 3835-UCLA INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE Department Website URL: international.ucla.edu/ Job Summary Statement: The incumbent will serve as the on-campus project manager (25% appointment) for UCLA Global Classroom Program, reporting directly to the Executive Director. Responsibilities will cover three major areas: (1) Creation and maintenance of communication and marketing materials including, but not limited to, websites, brochures, press releases, and posters; (2) Assisting in the creation of and management of on-campus programs for our partners in China, including, but not limited to, summer programs for students and teaching staff and hosting Chinese delegations; (3) Assisting in on-campus communications and coordination of daily tasks needed for the maintenance and operation of the Global Classroom Program in China. Percentage of Time: 25 Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm Qualifications for Position

5.Interpersonal skills and knowledge of appropriate protocols to relate effectively with a broad range of dignitaries from Chinese-speaking countries, including administrators, academicians, governments, parents and students.

6.Ability to prioritize and adapt to meet objectives in highly dynamic environment, amid shifting priorities.

7.Demonstrated knowledge and skills in graphic design, and design and word processing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite), with the ability to work across various systems and platforms (e.g. PC, Mac, Canvas Classroom, CCLE, WeChat, other social media).

8.Intermediate Mandarin Chinese ability.

9.Knowledge of UCLA Global Classroom Program mission and objectives. Familiarity with Program operations and with UCLA campus operating procedures.

10.Prior teaching experience and familiarity with Chinese high school requirements.
