  • 5 Years Experience required as a Project manager
  • Experience in Managing Software Development Projects - Required
  • Information Security Project background / knowledge about Information Security is a plus.
  • Waterfall experience is a must
  • Banking / Financial services experience is a big plus

They are familiar with project or program objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate activities across Enrollment Solutions &amp; Effectiveness. This position will work with the Program Manager and others to develop and execute project work and provide guidance on large, complex projects and organizational initiatives.</p><p>The Project Manager:</p><ul><li><p>Will prepare and analyze project plans. They proactively anticipate issues and opportunities to control project scope and use project management applications and tools to logistically manage deliverables/deadlines</p></li><li><p>Will effectively &amp; efficiently communicate department wide information to internal staff across departments</p></li><li><p>Actively engages and complies with quality operations &amp; reporting requests while maintaining productive relationships with internal resources and external customers to achieve project objectives</p></li><li><p>Delivers projects to successful completion in alignment with strategic and operational goals through planning, coordinating, and managing enterprise resources to achieve desired outcomes</p></li></ul><p>The qualities to excel in this position include the ability to make decisions based upon limited information, ability to indirectly contribute to multiple projects outside of core project management responsibilities, and excellent communication (including strong listening, negotiation, and facilitation) skills.</p><p>Core Tasks and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Understand a project's scope and drive project deliverables from initiation to closure</p></li><li><p>Lead project meetings by communicating individual roles, project expectations, and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively</p></li><li><p>Monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluating progress and quality, and managing the issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken</p></li><li><p>Maintain the quality of all project document/data to assure the integrity of a project</p></li><li><p>Work with the Program Manager and others to analyze and report project data, and communicate results</p></li><li><p>Adhere to standardized format guidelines</p></li><li><p>Work to develop and refine processes to help all projects run effectively &amp; efficiently</p></li><li><p>Coordinate schedule of activities related to project work</p></li><li><p>Monitor and record project data, metrics, and measures of success</p></li><li><p>And other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p>Required Skills, Experience and Competencies</p><ul><li><p>College degree, or higher</p></li><li><p>3+ years of recent experience in a Project Management role</p></li><li><p>PMP certification preferred or demonstrate application of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles</p></li><li><p>Expert proficiency of project management applications including the use of Lucid (to build process maps), Microsoft Smartsheet (to create project plans and critical path models), and SharePoint/Confluence (to centralize documentation and automate dashboards).</p></li><li><p>Significant project management experience managing multiple, conflicting priorities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, operational setting</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience managing projects through influence without direct authority</p></li><li><p>Professional experience in sales, contact center, operations, or IT industry required</p></li></ul><p>Learning is the most powerful force for change in the world.
