A week in the life of a Project Manager:
Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing research, software development, and software sustainment programs. This will include developing and executing project work plans from customer provided performance information. These plans will detail our specific approach to software development and describe our management practices.
Responsible for all of our contractual deliverables on any project you are assigned. A typical project will have you working with a customer and technical staff to create engineering descriptions and a breakout of key tasks and objectives to ensure successful delivery. These will result from you and the team performing engineering assessments and an analysis of testing requirements resulting in the identification of critical items such as critical GFI/GFE, teaming needs, schedule, milestones, deliverables, risks, and budgets.
Presenting program status to customer stakeholders, leading Technical Interchange Meetings and Program Reviews, supporting Quality Control Plan development and execution, and reporting the technical, cost, and schedule progress of a task. You will be expected to comply with Government policies, procedures and work location requirements as well as provide revisions for Government Furnished Documents.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or systems management discipline. We will be looking for experience in the field of Science & Engineering or Computer Science with specific program management experience in planning, resource estimation and management of research, software development, and software sustainment programs.
Candidates for this position must be US Citizens and possess a current Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or a final TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
