Job Description: Responsible for the total management of all contract activities for customer(s) with revenue ranging from $3 - $15M.
Conducts cost management through continual cost control and review. Has business development and budgetary responsibilities.
Provides expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues. Requires advanced knowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functions. Typically manages a team of 20 or more employees.
The Project Mangers responsibilities include the development and implementation of operational and management procedures to ensure compliance with all contractual agreements within applicable legal, environmental, and health and safety parameters.
The Project Manager has the authority to obligate resources and materials to fulfill contractual requirements, respond to emergencies, promote goodwill, respond to customer needs and requests and improve customer awareness. The Project Manager has the authority to delegate his/her duties, responsibilities and authority in response to an emergency situation.
The Project Manager must be organized, self-motivated and highly principled in order to effectively motivate staff, promote professionalism and develop good working relationships at all levels. The Project Manager must have superior interpersonal communication skills consulting with management staff on key issues such as manpower, planning, performance evaluation and workload. The Project Manager coordinates and meets with supervisors and customer representatives to solve customer concerns in order to maintain effective, open internal and external lines of communication.
The Project Manager must possess the ability to think and plan strategically. The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day business operations to include reporting, invoicing, budget control and review and planning.
The Project Manager must continually review, structure and analyze data in order to affect the most efficient use of manpower and materials, establish production goals and provide assistance in solving maintenance, material supply and personnel problems. The Project Manager is responsible for the moral and welfare of contract personnel.
The Project Manager is the onsite corporate marketing representative responsible for the successful planning, marketing and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the development of new business opportunities. The Project Manager is responsible to plan and carry out objectives with considerable independence within corporate defined parameters.
The Project Manager must meet with prospective clients review needs, analyze capabilities and determine value added potential. The Project Manager must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously meeting tight schedules. The Project Manager may be required to provide assistance with development of future business opportunities within other markets.
Typically reports to a Program Manager or Director.

DepartmentThe Transportation & Infrastructure business unit has four main business streams - surface transportation, aviation, fleet maintenance and infrastructure services, with over 1000 personnel providing these services in the federal, state and local markets. Our transportation surface and infrastructure business includes traffic control centers, intelligent system specification, deployment and maintenance, traveler information systems, back office capabilities, program management, congestion management and general operations.
Our business with state and local governments include parking management systems and technicality upgrades and parking enforcement. In addition we provide fleet maintenance services to a number of public utilities and municipal authorities.
