The Creative Group is hiring a Contract Project Manager with Agency experience for our client in Austin, TX! This is a contract, full time position for a Project Manager with 2+ years of experience working in the creative field. Apply today if this is you! What you get to do each day: -Use your knowledge of project management methods to lead creative design/production teams and project to final implementation and presentation

  • Manage multiple projects and their deadlines and schedules for deliverables

  • Set the scope of the project with your team to meet client expectations

  • Stay within budget by monitoring expenditures for each design project MUST have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience(3+ years preferred) in the creative industry

  • MUST have agency experience

  • Experience leading a team and setting expectations

  • Experience meeting deadlines and staying within budget

  • MUST be able to communicate clearly with peers/managers/supervisors/clients

  • Proficient in Excel Nice to Haves: -3+ years of PM experience in the design/creative/production field

  • PMP certification is a plus -advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and Excel

The Project Manager is responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as the G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This position is the primary point of contact for human relations functions involving company employees. Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions * Primary liaison between G4S Secure Solutions USA and client senior management * General Operations management; review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI); conducts required/dedicated site assessments to ensure contract compliance and provides recommendation on operations, policy and technology applications to plant management * General Human Resources management; participate in selection and placement, conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and conflict resolution; scheduling; as required * Provide monthly reports to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues * Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annual review and revise the security Emergency Response plan; monitors compliance with regulatory and fire prevention requirements and safety items assigned by Allison Transmission * Participate in bi-weekly management meetings providing feedback and suggestions in regards to safety and security * Ensures the correct and consistent administration of the Customer /Supplier Service Agreement. Ensures compliance with all client Labor Agreements * Provide client with timely, appropriate communication to make sure that their needs are being met; regularly review the services that are being provided and actively seek ways of increasing service; offer assistance to client to meet their changing needs and schedule; troubleshoot to identify and divert any potential problems; assure renewal of contracts * Assess need for additional training of employees and communicates need to Training Manager; provide specific training for supervisors requesting training updates for employees under their supervision The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent * Ability to meet and maintain any applicable State licensing or certification requirements Type and Length of Specific Experience Required * A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible, security-related management experience * Work history to include all of the following: * Demonstrated understanding of security operations * Knowledge of card access, security and safety systems * Ability to act in a decisive manner in emergency situations * Strong managerial skills and the ability to assert oneself * Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills Skills Required * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office * Effective oral and written communication skills * Active listening skills * Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively * Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately * Attention to detail Other * Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher * Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States * Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law * Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military Physical Requirements and Environment Environment: Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
