About the team:
We are establishing our Cards Project Management team and are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager whom would be required to manage multiple new and existing client projects. You would be joining a very collaborative and supportive team who provide BAU support and delivers client changes for B2K - P1C hosted payment platforms in EMEA.
What you will be doing
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the oversight and delivery of projects initiated from client requested change or internal enhancements.
You'll work with Project Managers and Business Analyst across the business to:
Plan and manage all aspects of projects from initiation through to delivery, responsible for reporting and governance of the project.
Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, internal departments, and Client organizations.
Be the key point of contact for the Client in customer engagement assignments.
Manage the integration of vendor/subcontractor tasks and track and review their deliverables.
Develop reports and produces materials required to support project plans including updates to project schedules, issue logging/reporting and documenting meeting minutes.
Manages project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
Report regularly on project updates to management.
Ensure the teams continue to deliver to exceed our customer expectations.
Support in the growth of the project management team within the Cards organisation, supporting more junior project managers where appropriate.
Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions
What you bring:
Experience working in a technology or financial services organization and preferably have worked in a vendor/client capacity.
Experience working on financial services migrations
Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles
Proven experience working independently under general instructions on a large variety of special projects
Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
Ability to utilize project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools
Added bonus if you have:
Experience in Cards/Payments
Desire to develop to support with day-to-day oversight of junior project managers
