JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the New Product Development and Technical Services team to execute the launch/implementation of various projects across our portfolio. The role requires a highly organized detailed oriented and self-directed team player with outstanding organization and communication skills. Strong ability to develop timelines, take meeting minutes and action items during team meetings and performing basic follow up tasks to hold team members accountable and keep projects on track. The role requires entry level project management skills, demonstrated by the ability to facilitate project team meetings within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, regulated environment. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the new product introduction process and technical service projects such as cost savings and product reformulations. The role requires strong cross-functional business acumen demonstrated by working with multiple departments such as Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES/ACTIVIES:

  • Builds milestone charts and project timelines with input from project owners and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Produces meeting minutes and monitors action item against key milestones.

  • Schedules and facilitates regular project team meetings.

  • Manages the overall execution of project plans.

  • Performs other related project management duties as within Prestige Business Units as required.

  • Delivers projects on time and within budget.

  • Complies with corporate standards and policies.

  • Supports business processes and requirements.

People Management/Development

  • Fosters culture that promotes respect, inclusion, cooperation, and responsibility.

  • Clearly defines escalation points for active initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience and/or as a Technical Project Manager with experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing or Supply Chain (including Manufacturing Science (MSAT) and Technology, Operations/Production, Engineering, or related fields)

  • Experience with dynamic project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar) required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (inclusive of presentation skills with tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel) required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work with cross-functional teams from indirect and direct leadership perspectives.

  • Technology Transfer leadership experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Consumer Packaged Goods Industries.

CERTIFICATIONS/AFFILIATIONS:

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • Minimal to no travel required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

#HybridWork: We follow a Hybrid work schedule. All applicants must be able to work in our Tarrytown office Tues/Wed/Thurs (remote on Mon/Fri).

Salary range: $105K to $110K

Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
