Location: Mississauga, ON

Our client is a manufacturer of window wall systems designed for high-rise residential developments in the GTA. The Position:
Responsible for the management of projects, with a clear focus on project milestones adherence, project performance as well as maintaining a safe working environment to achieve on time delivery for internal and external clients.Primary Responsibilities : Manage submittals from vendors to external clients and ensure full submittal package has been distributed per contract requirements.
Manage drafting turnover and maintain communication throughout drafting tracking status and reviewing as needed with drafting team for accurate deliverables.
Quality control the accuracy of shop drawings and submittals against the contract requirements and contract documents for compliance
Participate in the development of strategic plans to drive step change improvements in areas of opportunity within the company's business processes, and in meeting/exceeding customers' needs for improved communication, quick turns & on-time and seasonal demands.
Must be willing to travel to Project or Client sites upon request Qualifications:

- Responsible to ensure that all Project Management and preconstruction processes are completed to a high standard
- Report and manage allocated KPIs and deviations from targets.
- Manage changes in schedule.
- Manage the preconstruction customer interactions; and
- Communicate risks and maintain risk register for assigned projects,
Manage drafting turnover and maintain communication throughout drafting tracking status and reviewing as needed with drafting team for accurate deliverables.
Participate in the development of strategic plans to drive step change improvements in areas of opportunity within the company's business processes, and in meeting/exceeding customers' needs for improved communication, quick turns & on-time and seasonal demands.
- Minimum of 4 + years experience as a Project Manager in building envelope/curtain wall/ window systems is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings (Blueprints, Plan sets, etc.)
- LEED AP, CPM, PMP Certifications are an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Project)
- Strong knowledge of construction and scheduling of external workforce
- Advanced knowledge of glazing, installation requirements
- Proven leadership qualities and an ability to drive results through working with others.
