The team makes room for team building events and social activities to bring the team closer together.Summary of Position:Our client is seeking a project manager with over 8 years of experience in the architectural industry. This individual will be responsible for managing & coordinating multiple architectural projects from concept to close out. 

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage small to mid-sized projects, coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams
• Manages budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation
• Fee estimation, defining work scope, preparing proposals & contracts
• Resolves problems/issues related to consultants or/and team members
• Document review pertaining to code compliance in all phases and issue code interpretations
• Supervise and resolve issues in preparation of construction documents
• Prepare and manage work plans, schedules, budgets, staffing projections, and fees for large projects, and coordinate billing
• Support senior project manager and/or principal pertaining to delegation of work 
• Mentor and manage assigned staff & delegate tasks and duties with excellent leadership skills
• Assist with marketing proposals

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• 8+ Years of experience in architecture
• 5+ years of managing architectural projects/teams
• Strong leadership skills / ability to delegate tasks to team members
• Ability to write and edit specs
• Strong understanding of liabilities & municipal approval processes in relation to projects
• LEED/Sustainable Certification or knowledge considered an asset
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, InDesign, Projects, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
