This position is part of the North Bend operations and supply chain team function that will lead critical projects requiring cross-functional work and collaboration. The initial focus of this role will be to help oversee the successful implementation of the Strategic Sourcing Initiative (SSI) supply changes impacting all AWP materials and warehouse operations. The project manager will be critical in building and maintaining cross-functional communication and project tracking, to all stake holders involved in the SSI implementation.
The selected candidate will provide project management leadership and expertise, for the implementation of the Strategic Sourcing Initiative impacting procurement and warehouse operations for AWP.
Provide regular updates to all WH locations on expected changes to orders, inventory levels, SKU adjustments
Manage master data sheet for changes impacting the service parts org
Participate in cross-functional meetings, providing updates and concerns related to SSI progress
Support targeted backlog reduction targets for AWP through data analytics and management of improvement projects
Support design and execution of targeted inventory levels in AWP WH locations
Coordinate with other facilities implementation schedules on impacts to service parts
Work cross-functionally with peers at other Terex segments on best practices and learning
Travel: Estimated travel is 10-20%. Both domestic and international.
Bachelors degree in disciplines such as supply chain management, project management, business or procurement
Minimum of 5 years' experience in operational analytics, preferably supply chain and inventory management
Minimum 5 years' project implementation and management experience that includes advanced inventory management experience
Solid knowledge of project implementation and control techniques.
Understanding of Terex AWP product, and lean manufacturing processes.
Working knowledge of the MS Office suit.
Excellent communications, decision making, human relations, and organization skills.
Advanced inventory management skills and techniques
Able to successfully operate in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
Demonstrated ability to apply a global project on a local basis and achieve success for each stakeholder in the process. Requires a demonstrated ability to organize and execute project consistently.
Expertize in inventory management tools and techniques
MBA and/or CPM preferred.
