Project Manager

Strata-G Solutions is hiring a Project Manager at our facility in Huntsville, AL.

Contingent on Contract Award

The candidate for this Project Manager position will be responsible for projects focusing on engineering and/or manufacturing-based tasks. This Project Manager will oversee a group of multi-level personnel as well as budget, schedules, and resource requirements. Will function as the primary project interface to the customer to ensure the overall contractual commitments are met. Provides progress report updates to upper management.

The Project Manager will communicate project budgets, schedules, and requirements to their teams. Will also coordinate project planning and tracking with functional managers for successful project execution within corporate goals.

Responsibilities:

• Capability to develop and adhere to master plans and schedules.

• Ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is managed in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.

• Demonstrate energy and commitment to meeting customer needs.

• Actively seeks new business opportunities by utilizing an existing network and growing that network of contacts.

• Guide program team and support functions on how to take action to satisfy customer expectations.

• Lead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to communicate program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives for a developmental program leading to prototype and production.

• Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.

• Conduct risk and opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization.

• Must perform duties necessary for maintaining the company's AS-9100/AS9110 certifications.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of experience leading project teams on multiple concurrent projects

• Experienced in proposal development and/or contract technical evaluation for the USG

• Desired to have knowledge and experience in multiple technical and manufacturing disciplines (e.g. electrical, mechanical, composites)

• PMP and/or USG DAWIA/B2B certification is highly desired, but not necessarily a requirement depending on the culmination of the applicant's experience and training.

• Experienced user of Microsoft Office including Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience:

• BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field and

• Five (5) years of project management experience.

• Must be eligible for and able to maintain a Secret Clearance. Currently holding an active Secret Clearance is preferred.
