Your Role:

The Service Delivery Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, directing, leading and coordinating activities -- utilizing industry best practices -- for multiple projects to ensure project/program goals are accomplished by performing the following duties personally or through working with other team members. The PM will also execute special projects as required.

In addition, the PM will contribute to the development and maintenance of the Project Management Office (PMO); to deliver efficient, effective and repeatable Project Management processes, procedures, tools and techniques. The role will include travel to major countries within the theater and potentially on a global basis.

Your Opportunity:

  • Program / Project Management

  • Plans, directs, leads and coordinates all activities of service delivery projects through all phases of a program from inception through completion

  • Consults with Service Delivery leadership and Engagement Managers in the review of project proposals; to determine success criteria, goals, time-frame, budget limitations and procedures for accomplishing tasks, staffing requirements, allotment of resources, and the projects priority and feasibility within the program objectives

  • Develops project plans specifying goals, milestones, timeline, dependencies, staffing, scheduling and allocation of available resources

  • Formulates and works with project personnel to define technical scope and objectives of the program and its related projects

  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks related to the program

  • Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications

  • Continually monitors project status / success / outcome(s)

  • Develops quality assurance plans, communication plans, risk analysis and mitigation strategies

  • Tracks / documents lessons learned and develops improvement / training plans

  • Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel

  • Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel

  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems

  • Directs leads and coordinates activities of program personnel to ensure progress (i.e., planning, timeline, budget, stakeholder expectations, scope, etc.)

  • Communicate regularly with program stakeholders to ensure scope, timeline, and budget stability

  • Attends and presents in pre-sales meetings for clients to help grow the business

  • Ability to adapt to change as well as implement the changes required to continually improve and mature our project delivery

  • Enforce change control in line with change management procedures

  • Reporting and Analysis

  • Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation

  • Reviews status reports and modifies schedules and plans as required

  • Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues

  • Develops and maintains technical and project documentation

  • Provide periodic reporting and trend analysis for Management review and consideration

  • Direct and provide input on team capacity and workload

  • Provide timely project reporting / status updates to project stakeholders (Tenable & Client) including the data to support Tenable business and financial processes and tasks

  • Participate and support Tenable Pre-sales (Win New Business)

  • Attend scoping calls

  • Assist with Level of Effort (LOE) analysis

  • Develop draft project plan when/where applicable and provide estimated delivery times based on agreed upon scope

  • Support Statement of Work (SOW) language with project timelines, LOE, budget, and overall success criteria

What You'll Need:

  • BA or BS or equivalent PM experience (8+ years) required in the planning and delivery of complex technical projects;

  • Certifications: ITIL and PMI/Prince2 certification

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Strong leadership, negotiating and influencing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects

  • Accountability, readiness to accept ownership of a situation

  • Persistence, ability to follow through

  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated and proven capacity to tailor communications to fit any audience

  • High aptitude for setting and managing customer / team / stakeholder expectations

  • Develops and delivers standards, policies, and procedures

Capable of leading internal and external deliverables across multiple levels of management

  • Strong proficiency in ITIL/PMI/Prince2/ISO framework, methodologies and/or standards

  • Ability to work independently and with/for a team

  • Superior attention to details

  • Ability to provide and deliver clear team/PM guidelines for successful outcomes

  • Exceptional enablement, coaching and mentoring skills

  • Aptitude to assess, review, encourage and motivate project / program personnel

  • Technical understanding of information security / vulnerability management practices

  • Ability to translate business needs into project proposals; strong analytical skills

  • Strong customer satisfaction focus with ability to build client relationships

  • Experience of international or multicultural environments

VIEW JOBS 3/29/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-27T00:00 United States of America - New York, New York City Job Summary AECOM is seeking a talented Project Controls Manager - Scheduler to support our Power & Energy business in NY. * Although this position will be tied to the New York City AECOM office, the successful candidate will work full time from our client's location in White Plains, NY. * The Project Controls Manager - Scheduler shall provide Scheduling Support Services at both the Project Level and the Program Level. These services may be required during the initial planning phases as well as the implementation phases. The goal is to develop cost/resource-loaded schedules for each project, which can be rolled up to a Program Level Master Schedule. The PCM supports Project Management by providing critical decision-making data related to the oversight and management of Project Management-led projects and programs. The Cost Analyst/Engineer is responsible for tracking, managing and coordinating the schedule and resources for the various Construction projects/programs The PCM is also responsible for resource utilization in the planning, scheduling and evaluating of all work tasks within the Projects/Programs, Project Controls. Project Control Services include, but are not limited to: * Plan work tasks utilizing; and Industry best practices and policies and procedures. * Assist the project team with preparing the overall project plan and the cost and resource loaded project schedule to establish milestone compliance measures and ensure project completion on time and within budget. * Integrate contractors' construction schedules and site craft labor schedules into the overall project schedules. * Update schedules on a regular and pre-determined basis with a minimum of weekly updates depending on the project. * Create and issue milestone, with the agreement of the Project Manager, resource, cash flow and Earned Value Management (EVM_ reports). * Develop Project Estimates, Project Schedules and Program Master Schedules * Develop plan for project roll ups to Master Schedule (for Program Level schedules) * Provide monthly schedule updates, critical path analyses and projected cash-flow reports. * Download actuals from SAP system in order to run Earned Value Reports. * Work with Authority and all applicable contractors to identify accruals and incorporate them into the monthly reports. * Set-up Earned Value protocols to measure progress on the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction activities. * Provide Performance Measurement Reports that show a comparison of the Budget to date, Earned value to date, Actuals to date, and associated cost and schedule variances. * Assist the Authority in preparation of the Monthly Progress Report for applicable projects, as necessary. These reports shall include a summary of work performed for the current month, planned work for the subsequent months, Key Milestone status, earned value report, and explanation of any variances. * Prepare fair cost estimates to confirm contractors' proposals, to keep Change Order costs at most reasonable level. * Review field-oriented estimates. Analyze and evaluate variances between estimates prepared bids or proposals received from outside contractors/consultants. * Perform field visits to review and assess conditions for estimates involving construction contract changes and retrofit projects. Level specific responsibilities: * Skilled in the development of commercial strategies. Capable of participating in negotiations. * Requires a demonstrated ability to effectively lead the project controls function on a large/complex project. Leadership * Documents employee performance issues and is instrumental in resolution. Organizational Management * Conducts root cause analysis. * Drafts comprehensive project procedures. * Possesses proven knowledge of scope control and change management. * Oversees the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules. Expert understanding of schedule resource loading and leveling. * Assists the Project Manager in budgeting and managing incentive programs. * Holds an expert understanding of schedule, critical path analysis, resource loading and leveling. * Establishes and maintains client relationships. * Has the ability to review and analyze project program and oversee the production of accurate progress/performance reports. * Able to review and assess (as required) raw data that comes from project automated systems. * Serves as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations. * Participates in staffing decisions for projects. * Ensures that a tracking database is developed and maintained to cross check subcontractor funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures. * Involved in tracking system to insure that Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status.
