The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of our projects on time, on budget and with complete customer satisfaction and profitability.

The projects we conduct have a deep impact on our clients and commonly range from 6 to 18 months in duration, to engineer and deploy functions that are core to their business. We strive in every project to meet project objectives while delivering an outstanding client experience.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects for one or more of our clients, for whom you will be a key contact and a trusted advisor. You will work with our technical team to guide each project through the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. You will ensure project visibility and financial transparency through proper reporting and communication with the client and Sefas management. You will contribute your ideas and practical experience to our program of continuous improvement of our project and program management tools and processes.

Successful candidate may be located in the Burlington area, or fully remote. If fully remote - a willingness to travel up to 20% will be required, once we resume traveling.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our sales and engineering teams and with Sefas management to develop estimates and statements of work
  • Prepare and maintain project plans and financial tracking
  • Provide the day-to-day oversight to ensure that projects remain on track, on budget and within scope
  • Prepare project forecasts and proactively identify and address key decisions and potential problems or delays
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and publish project reporting to meet the needs of our clients and Sefas management
  • Develop the understanding of client business and project objectives needed to gain trust and build solid relationships
  • Contribute to the resource allocation process to ensure that resources are applied efficiently and profitably
  • Apply Sefas processes and industry best practices to ensure high-quality solution delivery
  • Demonstrate through your own example how to work with Sefas and client team members to achieve our common goals
  • Work effectively with other parts of the Sefas organization (Solutions, Administration, Sales, Support)


Core skills

  • 5+ years of professional services experience managing IT systems integration projects for external clients
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and project management concepts, processes and methodologies, including waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans, budgets and financial forecasts
  • Experience managing multiple clients, programs and projects concurrently
  • Experience preparing project cost estimates, proposals and statements of work
  • Ability to apply risk management and quality assurance techniques in an IT systems context
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct difficult conversations leading to a positive outcome
  • Demonstrated client-facing skills for communication and relationship building
  • Ability to lead teams and actively drive projects to a successful outcome
  • Ability to relate client business processes and business goals to solution development and delivery
  • Understanding of organization dynamics and coolness under pressure
  • Creativity, persistence and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish rapport at all levels of Sefas and client organizations (users, engineers, architects, managers, executives)
  • BA/MBA or BS/MS in Computer Science/Software Engineering, Operations Research, or Business Administration

Preferred but not Required

  • An understanding of transactional document production workflows (ADF/CCM)
  • PMP or other project management certification
