Seeking a IT Project Manager for the following role -

Description:
Work with the Data Warehouse team to deliver the current data projects. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall projects. Understanding of full development life cycle and deliverables is required. Data projects experience is preferred. Ability to see the big picture, think on your feet and identify possible alternatives is crucial. Can work in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Not looking for someone who just can build and track a project plan. Must be able to understand what is going on within the project.


Services to be Performed:
Monitor and track project plan and deliverables. Lead an Agile development team through the definition, design, development and test phases of the Data SDLC processes.

Position Summary The Construction Managers/Project Engineers (CM or PE) role is responsible for the cradle to grave management and implementation of a site. They represent Jacobs' eyes and ears on site and are required to be the experts for each of the sites under their control. The breadth of knowledge is wide due to the nature of activities at each site. The following represents the responsibilities for each of the CMs: * Manage the A&E process for each site assigned * Understand all environmental stipulations associated with each unique site. * Conduct quality control/quality assurance inspections and provide reports; and * Conduct preconstruction site analysis and planning, including considerations for temporary utilities and structures, construction sequencing, construction site coordination, site infrastructure, construction-related traffic analysis, etc. * Coordinate site activities with utility companies; * Coordinate geotechnical testing and investigation services; * Coordinate environmental site assessments; Monitor land surveying services * Monitor field engineering investigations, assessments, and reports; * Conduct preconstruction site analysis and planning, including considerations for temporary utilities and structures, construction sequencing, construction site coordination, site infrastructure, construction-related traffic analysis, etc. * Involved hands-on on a daily basis to make sure that the following items are addressed: * Verify that all required permits (e.g. E-sized permitted set of drawings) are on hand before starting any construction activities * Verify that any updated drawings are also present on-site during construction within one business day of drawing approval. * Communicate upcoming construction activities in advance to all stakeholders and the appropriate communities if impacts are expected * Process and address any RFIs and submittals coming from the telecommunications system contractor * Carry out construction observation to resolve any quality-related issues as they arise * Coordinate the services of the various specialty consultants, including special inspection and material testing * Monitor construction progress against our project baseline schedule for each site and address recovery plans if delays become necessary * Notify senior staff of any delays in the project schedule within one business day of delay * Review progress payment applications against work in place and process for payment as appropriate * Ensure that all environmental mitigation measures are addressed as defined in the environmental documents * Ensure that all master punch list work is completed properly and in a timely manner * Coordinate all inspection activities with inspector of record (IOR) and with deputy inspectors. Commissioning including: * Verify all ATPs performed have passed * Assist the Authority in planning and monitoring the decommissioning, removal, and disposal of equipment from legacy radio systems. * Maintain the master punch list and ensure close items are completed prior to final milestone payments being approved. * Delivery of all as-built and site record documentation that will enable the Authority to maintain and support the telecommunications system. * Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture required * 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization required * 10 years of experience in a project related technical field required * Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required * Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification preferred Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
