We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our expanding Global D2C Software Development team. This role will lead and manage the delivery of complex global software development projects in a timely, controlled and predictable manner and is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of Global D2C software solutions, within an agile framework. In addition to project management and delivery, this role will also play a key role as the Scrum Master. The Scrum Master is the driving force for ensuring scrum is understood and enacted. Working in close collaboration with the Digital Architecture, Products and Business Analysts and QA, this role provides coaching to self-organize and create high-value products, and remove roadblocks to ensure project successes.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with management and their teams to coordinate development, testing and integration activities for the D2C platforms

  • Works through challenges and removes roadblocks in projects. Empowers open discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

  • Facilitate and organize daily stand ups, sprint and release planning, scoping, triages, sprint planning and retrospectives aligned with Agile Scrum best practices

  • Manage technical schedules for each Sprint (release cycle) for UX engineers, QA analysts, development and technical architects along with the Product Owner(s)/Business Analysts to develop continuous product enhancements and releases

  • Champion of focus, productivity and efficiencies, deflecting team distractions

  • Ensure 'showcases' or product demos are conducted for each sprint and for all user stories

  • Refine and work with the POs to enforce best practices and maintain team standards around process and execution of work

  • Works across global regions with stakeholders, customers, and partners with broad and diverse business models, requirements and objectives

  • Understand and influence team dynamics, morale and motivation. Leads meetings and projects aligned with our culture where all members and points of view are respected

  • Plan, coordinate and direct all activities associated with creating and maintaining project plans, communication plans and project schedules, by adapting PM fundamentals to best support assigned projects from start to finish

  • Own and manage assigned projects from start to finish

  • Set, manage, monitor and report on milestones for team members, inclusive of story points

  • Continuously assess risk and resolve conflicts between development resources, schedules and design goals

  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on project status to multiple levels of the organization

  • Maintain close communication with team leads and lead collaboration with team members to achieve project success

  • Provide clear ownership for and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and issues

  • Lead improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery and contribute to the identification of areas of improvement.

  • Develop and maintain effective and proactive relationships with cross functional teams and external vendors

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including facilitation, coaching and ability to influence others

  • Enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated, with ability to work independently

  • Excellent personal organization skills and detail-oriented. Ability to demonstrate consistently balanced good judgement and logical thought prioritization

  • Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and focus on results

  • JIRA/Confluence experience

  • SFCC Experience a plus

  • Committed to the continuous development of capability within the software delivery team

  • Experience in the use of tools and techniques to facilitate effective project delivery

  • Ability to be flexible and work within a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Love of golf a plus

Education, Work Experience and Professional Certification:

  • High School diploma required, bachelor's degree required in related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the digital space Exposure to or awareness of all phases of software development projects including analysis, systems design, development and testing approaches

  • Experienced in the delivery of projects in an agile environment

  • Experienced (preferably certified) Scrum Master

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Normal office conditions; consistent use of computer and other office equipment

  • Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption

  • Able to work extended hours as necessary

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
