CityU School of Business and Management is seeking a qualified full-time Project Manager for its BS and MS Programs.
Project Manager reports to the Director of Undergraduate Programs within the School of Business and Management (SBM) and contributes to the success of projects and operations across all SBM's programs to enhance staff and student performance and experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates multiple data collection efforts to assess the performance of various systems and processes with the primary of objective of creating opportunities for efficiency, productivity, and outsourcing.
Operates as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to define and develop comprehensive project plans that merge stakeholder requirements (e.g., SBM's Program Directors) with the institution's goals and coordinates various subject matter experts (SMEs) during all project phases, from discovery to initial development through implementation.
Uses statistical and database management programs to analyze data and prepare annual and summary reports, graphs, tables, charts, and illustrations.
Exercises a high-degree of discretion to successfully manage the life of a project with oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
Manages work flows, ensuring high quality standards are adhered to, training/supervision as needed.
Communicates proactively with all involved personnel to identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
Contributes to curriculum and course design and development.
Delegates technical responsibilities and monitors progress of projects.

A minimum of a Master's degree in the business administration/project management field.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in operations and/or project management.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience using MS Project.
2-4 years proven experience in teaching, preferably in both in-class and online modes of educational delivery.
Ability to address student academic-related issues and concerns in support of retention and student success.
Ability to lead and manage in a creative and fast-paced environment.
Ability to work comfortably with and manage virtual teams.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Must be able to relate to and communicate with diverse students, faculty, staff, and external communities.
Ability to present a professional image on behalf of the academic school and CityU as appropriate.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and learning management systems in support of quality teaching and learning

Starting at $80,000/year DOE
