The Job

As a Project Manager (SCAN Temp), you will oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of a couple projects within the Provider Management portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, manage resources, mitigate risks, and drive successful outcomes. Your role will involve maintaining project management deliverables (status report, project plan, RAIDD), tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing support to functional leaders to deliver on project outcomes.

You Will

  • Delivers tactical support to workstream teams in completing program planning activities, ensuring deliverables are completed in alignment with leadership expectations and quality standards.

  • Develops, maintains, and publishes various work products including but not limited to project work plans; action items/risks and issues/decisions trackers; status reports; meeting agendas and supporting notes.

  • Supports Program Lead with strategic thinking around project and system-wide risks and opportunities

  • Works in close partnership with all departments that are involved in executing PRM initiatives

  • Supports identification, management, and tracking of key risks and issues for the program ; proactively identifies risks and issues when appropriate.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Ability to flex to new priorities/work assignments (e.g., support the implementation of initiatives by managing project deliverables).

  • Highly motivated, with ability to work independently, with a self-started mindset and proactive inclination to think through and execute on tactical responsibilities

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with ability to balance shifting priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders

  • An understanding of the health insurance industry, preferred to have knowledge of provider data management.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Bachelor's in business administration, Public Health, or Health Administration. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above.

  • 2 years of relevant Project Management experience where the individual has led the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives. Implementation activities include answering questions and providing stakeholder management support, issue resolution, risk management, scheduling, and other project management involved topics.

  • Strong communication, presentation development and delivery skills.

  • Foundational understanding in at least one or more of the following: health plan functional areas; government programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, Duals); governance infrastructure and delivery.

Preferred:

  • 1 to 3 years of consulting or consulting related experience

  • Knowledge of managed care health insurance programs.
