SAIC is seeking a Project Manager with excellent project execution and leadership experience to join our team supporting NAVWAR Program. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, experienced with successful program and project execution, and interacting with multiple government stakeholders. Work will be performed onsite in Reston, VA.

The candidate will be responsible for successful delivery of software and technical services to the government customer. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Provides continuous communication and formal reports to the government customer, and project team. Has experience in managing upwards and downwards. Manage the project using Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute project work utilizing industry standard Agile practices.

  • Work with organization's procurement department to acquire needed hardware and software licenses.

  • Communicate project's ongoing work with client on weekly bases.

  • Manage product backlog, sprint work, team's schedule, and project's financials.

  • Discuss requirements, user stories, and reported bugs with internal team and customer to manage scope.

  • Provide guidance to development team on changes needed for application's infrastructure and design to accomplish the requirement.

  • Coordinate onsite visits to Government facilities to provide necessary support.

  • Complete contracture deliveries to its entirety and deliver in timely manner.

  • Provide and present Monthly Status report to Government.

  • Support ongoing system accreditation and standing up of SIPRnet connection.

  • Communicate with vendors to assess tools which align with project's needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.

  • Active Secret clearance required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Program Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • CompTIA Security+ (or other IAT level II certification)

  • Agile certification- CSM or SAFe

Specifically, this role is responsible for leading projects and collaborating with functional teams within the program as well as dealing directly with our customer on specific program related items. The selected candidate will apply sound judgment to the most complex planning, design, technical, and management functions. Will also serve as the primary point of contact for assigned cross-organizational projects.</p><p>Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Providing decision support through data gathering, information analysis, and presentation of relevant considerations to key stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ensuring streamlined activities within the organization based on the strategic objectives and priorities of the Program</p></li><li><p>Coordinating the execution of strategic initiatives and guiding them to completion.
