Project Manager - Restaurant Systems
Location: Glendale, CA
Duration: 6 - 12 months+ with potential for full time conversion

IMMEIDATE NEED for a Project Manager. This role plays a significant part in building and leading high performing teams on POS, Table Top, and In Restaurant Support projects ranging from platform enhancement efforts and enterprise product implementations to product upgrades. This project manager partners closely with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, collaborating on strategic and tactical project planning and execution of project delivery.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for looking across the business to understand demand, and work across a variety of technology teams to deliver solutions in the focus area. This project manager will take a broad view across restaurant support systems to understand, manage, and lead the technology projects focusing on restaurant solutions.
Oversee tactical planning and day-to-day project management of the POS platform and in restaurant support projects including integrations with in house systems and vendor products.
Develop a deep understanding of work streams within the in-restaurant systems, manage assigned projects with clarity of context, and develop a deep understanding of cross-program portfolio dependencies.
Ensure alignment with the program roadmap and its goals, and manage project planning and execution accordingly.
Lead high performing, cross-functional, often geographically distributed teams.
Serve as a project manager for key initiatives within the program.
Core project management duties include developing project plans that includes detailed budgets, project time-lines, detailed task-driven schedules, project RACI and resource plans, and communication plans; and managing project execution from analysis/design through build, test, and deployment.
Ensure that project status reports and updates are relevant, transparent, and add value.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager or senior project manager in an IT or software development setting.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience implementing In restaurant solutions in a restaurant or hospitality industry
Strong preference for candidates with extensive experience implementing enterprise solutions on complex, integrated platforms.
Strong preference for candidates with a background in Agile and PMP background
Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree is desired, but not required. Strong preference for candidates with a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management.
PMP and CSM certifications desired.
Deep knowledge of standards and practices for IT project lifecycle management activities and deliverables.
Clear understanding of project technical activities, including: (1) solution analysis and design; (2) enterprise, solution, and infrastructure architecture; (3) systems integration; (4) data conversion and migration; (5) environment management and build processes; and (6) deployment planning and execution.
Advanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, particularly Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in using JIRA/Confluence tools to lead tactical project activities, including scrum ceremonies
