Project Manager

Overview & Responsibilities

Republic Finance is seeking a Project Manager to join our team and drive large, cross-functional initiatives supporting our ongoing business transformation. We look for individuals that are skilled in proactively finding opportunities for improvement, defining requirements, building project plans, and guiding large project teams to delivery of successful initiatives on time and under budget. Job responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead business and support partners in the creation of project requirements, project plan, risk mitigation, anticipated benefits, costs, and resource requirements.

• Develop and revise sophisticated project plans, detailed resource requirements and budgets.

• Facilitate team problem solving and build subject matter expertise across the business.

• Assess current processes and systems, recommending opportunities to improve.

• Source, negotiate with and manage outside vendors and their interactions with internal partner teams.

• Lead project implementation as the central point for deliverables, tracking timelines, resource requirements and regularly communicating progress to leadership.

• Utilize standard project processes and tools aligned with the PMO.

• Define project quality standards and lead post-implementation testing with formal hand-off to the BAU process owner.

• Provide detailed and regular verbal and written communication to project partners and leadership.

• Identify potential project and new process risks with appropriate risk controls and mitigation.

• Work to demanding timelines in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years in a project management role working with large, cross functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years in a project management role including experience in the Consumer Lending industry.

• PMI certification.

• Experience with project management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.

• Experience with Microsoft Project Web App.

• Green belt six sigma certification or higher.

• Familiarity with data mining and analysis.
