Job Summary
The Scalable Asymmetric Lifecycle Engagement in K-12 (SCALE K-12) Project Manager will work to help achieve the day-to-day objectives of a research-to-practice project from the US Department of Defense (DoD). The goal of the project is to develop microelectronics-based workforce development efforts for K-12 students both in school and out of school. This project has the following partners: Purdue University, Indiana University, NSWC Crane, University of Michigan, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a regional education development organization, 9-10 school districts in Indiana, 1 school district in Illinois, and 1 school district in Michigan. Work to implement established procedures requires communication with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the variety of activities involved, ranging from coordination of curriculum implementation schedules, development of data collection schedules, facilitating communication between partnership members, facilitating implementation of a summer professional development institute for teachers, as well as curriculum implementation in schools, and Teacher Fellow ME Curriculum Workshop, requires attention from a part-time Project Manager.
This is a part-time benefits-eligible position working 20 hours/week. This position is hybrid but 75% will be on campus. Living within driving distance of campus is necessary for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Communication with internal and external stakeholders, implementation of program policies, processes, and procedures.
Coordination of curriculum implementation schedules, development of data collection schedules, and overseeing implementation of data collection in classrooms
Assist with teacher professional development coordination, including the development of agendas and securing lodging, catering, and supplies.
Assist with program reporting to funders.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in education or related field
Two (2) years of experience in K-12 teaching, project/program management experience, and/or K-12 curriculum development or professional development
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Strong written and oral communication skills
Able to work on computer software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work with a diverse team and build partnerships with internal and external partners
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining relationships with K-12 organizations
Ability to communicate effectively with faculty and graduate students
