Responsibilities

Project Manager/ Program Manager Lead will that will report directly to the PMO Head for Enterprise Technology Services

  • Responsible for delivery and execution of Risk/Finance IT programs.

  • As a PM in the PMO, the candidate will define, design, implement (and manage ongoing production of) Program and Project tracking and reporting capabilities to support the application development & delivery teams in the execution of business mandatory programs and projects.

  • Familiarity with various software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, etc.) is a pre-requisite.

  • The candidate must be familiar with enterprise tools that are used to track large Initiatives and Programs.

  • This management support role will be responsible for interpretation and dissemination of project information for tracking and monitoring of key set of programs.

  • The role will see the development and implementation of proactive status reporting and tracking of critical time sensitive programs, collaboratively coordinating multiple stakeholders within a cross-functional environment.

  • Project Manager will be main POC to advise the PMO Head and senior technology managers of the overall health and status of programs under their portfolio along with proactively identifying areas that require remediation.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working as a Project Manager or PMO within a Program Management Office (PMO) preferably in a Financial Services technology delivery function with experience in organizing, analyzing and strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Candidate needs to be a self-starter, flexible, motivated, able to meet time sensitive deadlines and able to drive execution against targets without constant supervision.

  • 3 + years financial services experience in Enterprise Risk or Finance will be a definite advantage. PMP preferred.

  • Manage portfolio of projects driving toward tracking, monitoring, status reporting toward regulatory deliverables across multiple stakeholders; ensure alignment with program/project management governance standards

  • Interface and build strong rapport with designated Technology Application Development Project & Program Managers, internal business clients and other sector partners to meet deliverable

  • Execute status meetings with Technical Project Managers, partner with other Project Managers, Project stakeholders, etc. and provide support to drive initiatives to completion

  • Prepare and produce project status, Issue/Risk and RAG reports appropriate for senior level management with keen attention to detail

  • Coordinate project meetings and working sessions with project stakeholders , as required

  • Conduct project related status/performance analysis

  • Track project progress against time and quality expectations
